Client: The Goodstone Inn & Estate

Background:

The Goodstone Inn & Estate is a luxury inn in Middleburg, Virginia. The Estate was adding a restaurant for guests and the public.

Objective:

To let regional media know about the property and dining options as well as showcase the private wine cellar that is open for events.

Challenge:

Be sure not to compromise the Estate's premier reputation for just any media coverage, while making sure that the tastemaker travel and affluent DC audiences became aware of the restaurant.

The Solution...

Strategy:

Host wine dinners to introduce food press to the restaurant.

Results:

The restaurant was featured in The Middleburg Eccentric, WTOP Radio Man About Town, The Wall Street Journal, DC Modern Luxury and Bisnow, and BCI was part of the team that promoted the chef’s presentation at the James Beard House. We also assisted in the planning of an event which introduced the new general manager to community leaders and the press including but not limited to The List, Zagat, The Piedmont Virginian, The Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, DC Modern Luxury, Capitol File and Southern Living, Washington Flyer and Where.
